The brainchild of Arlee Bird, at Tossing it Out

Demented. . .
as in I think I was demented when I signed on for this challenge a second year in a row, but now that I'm here, let's do the job.

Take a look at this font: Ariel-Demented. I get a bit demented just looking at it. And that means, I'm dementare, deprived of my mind. Yes. But I'm in good company. Anybody know Crazy Jane in DC Comics?
I think part of my dementia is book-related. I'm trying to write, trying edit, and then trying to push Sliding on the Edge--That reminds me, my protagonist in that book is a little demented at times. If you'd like a signed copy, my goodreads giveaway is on until the 5th. Now I hope you'll visit bloggers who are also in this amazing marathon.

Sometimes I wonder if being demented goes hand in hand with being a writer. lol!!
ReplyDeleteAgreed - to write, one has to be a little demented :)
ReplyDeleteTHen I'm fully qualified. Great group to belong in, though.
DeleteAh, the Doom Patrol...great comic :)
ReplyDeleteHey, don't worry, you're in plenty of good company with the crazy and you're one up on me as this is your second year!
And there you see is why I'm demented. I did this once and still signed up for a second shot at it! Oh, well, I'm really enjoying the posts.
DeleteThose letters are how I'm viewing the alphabet right now...
ReplyDeleteI totally am with you!
DeleteI think that all us A to Z'ers must be slightly demented to take on a challenge of such proportions... it's crazy (if you think about it...)
ReplyDeleteMy friends and family do not "get" it!
DeleteHAHAHAHA. Can we start a demented club? We could be the D.A.Z.W Demented A to Z Writers. Doesn't sound like S.H.I.E.L.D for it's a start.
ReplyDeleteThat picture is an accurate portrayal of how I look in the morning and after I take an exam. Not. Pretty.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm pretty demented for signing up for this too, but I've had a lot of fun with it so far!
You will get no argument from me! :) Your wonderfully demented group are adoring fans of mine. I guess, in my case, "D" would be "Delusional"!
ReplyDeleteGary, your cordial host at the alternate alphabet challenge! :)
I loved reading your Z post. It gave me hope.
DeleteI'm demented at the moment but I think sleep would help. At least in my case
ReplyDeleteLove this photo, and I can certainly relate to it! Good luck with Sliding On The Edge Lee!
ReplyDeleteJulie
def feeling demented, scattered, and a bit overwhelmed!
ReplyDeleteI hear you. I'm trying to write... trying to figure out where/how the story is suppose to go and trying to visit bloggers. I'm glad I got all my posts done ahead of schedule or I'd be a screaming demento.
ReplyDeleteYour titles are SLAYING me!
ReplyDeleteFantastic D word! I love that demented bunch. :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent word choice! I think we might all be a little demented--or that you have to be demented to make it through this life sane.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm possibly a bit demented and deranged!
ReplyDelete:D
That is one crazy, dizzy-making font. Best of luck with pushing Sliding on the Edge!
ReplyDeleteI'm demented as a writer, Challenge or no Challenge!
ReplyDelete"How many more letters do we have?" LOL. I am feeling very demented lately as well.
ReplyDeleteI love this word. It was a favorite of mine when I was in middle school and I have liked it ever since. :) Great picture to go with it! I give you credit for doing the challenge. Keep it up!
ReplyDelete~Jess
A fine demented crew. There must be an Indie band named Demented. My hat's off to you for A to Z-ing. I bailed this year. If I start now, I may be ready for next year.
ReplyDeleteI'm more demented than you. This is my 3rd year. It's a good way to expand beyond our confines, though.
ReplyDeleteYep! You are. THREE years! Good Grief.
DeleteDemented = Someone who participates in A-Z immediately after their blog tour. LOL
ReplyDeleteYou're right there, Carrie!
DeleteThis is the 3rd year I've done the challenge... I'm dementare too.
ReplyDeleteAnother THREE year person. And you both look so sane.
DeleteI'm driven, but also demented.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen that font before.
Hilarious and I think you are reading my mind with this post! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so there with you on the demented thing! I'm doing final edits, formatting (!), looking at a May release...and not doing very well on the visiting back part of A to Z. :/
ReplyDelete*high five's you*
disclaimer - I'm sure there's something amiss with the above statement. It's not the grammar mistake you're looking for. Move along.
Laura Eno – A Shift in Dimensions
By the way, I'm on my third year too. We are not sane.
DeleteLee, I believe all of us writers are demented to be doing the challenge, but what's life without a little excitement.
