Great post - never never quit! Someone once told me that they couldn't think of a single author who stuck with it who wasn't published. I remember this all the time.
Yes, I thought about quitting trying to get back into fine arts and quitting trying to make more films and then even thought about quitting Twitter. Lately, I thought about quitting my routine of visiting more than the minimum of five A to Z Challenge blogs because I felt like it didn't get me anywhere, but alas, here I am...still reading new blogs, still Tweeting and still trying to finish this script so I can make a darn movie. I have to stay busy or else I'd go crazy, lol.Sometimes quitting is easy. Sometimes quitting is hard. No matter how well or how difficult it may seem for one to quit, either way, you still might miss a whole lot.~NicoleBlog: The Madlab Post@MadlabPost on Twitter
I'm not quitting! At some point, I may be in this for 20 years without having my own book published, which will be mortifying to explain...
I'm with you. Even though A to Z is a big challenge, I'm sticking with it. I may cut down the text and post more pictures as I'm doing today, that's all.
Sometimes...but I'm not going to!
One of my favorite wall hangings is that cartoon, Lee. Probably the only inspirational/motivational thing my dad gave me was a photocopy of that cartoon. He gave it to me when I first started my career as a scientist. Trying to find a way in a tough field, making little to no money and fighting the fight every day. I put the cartoon is a sheet protector and taped it to a prominent laboratory wall, where is still provides guidance 24 years later. This simple idea helped me endure in my science, coaching and writing careers.Don't give up, keep swinging.Mike Hays@coachhays64
I had that same picture posted in my dorm in college!!!! What fun to see it again. I often entertain the notion of quitting (many things), but am proud that I haven't yet. I just cut back if I have to.
No quitting! Persevere. :)
Not quitting blogging, writing, or the Challenge!
i haven't really thought about quitting
No. The word isn't really in my vernacular.
Hi Lee - I certainly have thought about quitting .. it's not a word I know - I may move on to something else, but quit no ... and definitely not the A - Z .. cheers Hilary
Nope, not gonna do it. No quitting. Wait, I'd like to quit housework.
Never give up! Persistence pays off.
When something challenges me I don't give up! I like to witness what I'm made of!Hi, doing the A-Z challenge! Can't believe it's almost over; time fly's by when your having fun!Nice to meet you and to visit your blog!Sounds interesting so far! I like new ventures so I'll continue to do just that as your new follower!Hope you will find time ( I know - one more thing on your agenda) to stop by my blog and become my follower!http://bettyalark.blogspot.com
Excellent post! Glad you are not quitting! I think at times we all become overwhelmed with things- but usually giving yourself a little break takes care of everything. I like the comic that you shared! :) ~Jess
No quitting! Never! Not if it's your passion and you have half a chance of making it!J.C. MartinA to Z Blogger
I do periodically think of that on my low days. But I love writing and the writing community so I say NOT.
I'm with you! We'll stick it out :)
Sometimes I feel like quitting but then I don't. The idea makes me too mad so I just limp along and hope it gets easier.
Awesome post! No way, I will not quit. How else can I make my dreams come true while satisfying my craving to create? :)
Great cartoon! There are some instances when people have no choice, but to drop out of the challenge. Fortunately, most of us have come too far to quit now! Julie
The only thing I think about quitting is biting my finger nails! :)
Never give up - easier said than done - but it's a good mantra.
Yesterday on Q dayeI was, today I feel better so I'm REPENTANT.
Writing's going well. Blogging is going well. Good reads and Twitter, meh. Not so much at the moment.
I don't really "quit" per se. I just ignore them until I next have the time to breathe. :_
Quit? What does that mean? I don't know how to quit.
Please say something to me, anything. Well, not anything, but a kind word will do.
