Monday Miscellany-Awards

I love awards. I love to give them and I loveS to get 'em. I recently acquired four. FOUR! How about that? I'm beyond happy and grateful.
Lisa Gail Green, my favorite paranormal writer-blogger-person on planet earth gave me this award a few years ago, so here's another thank you to her.
Susanne Drazic passed on The Versatile Blogger also.  Now my job is to say thank you to her, which I just did, then I have to share seven things about ME and pass these on to 15 recently discovered blogs!

Seven Things About Me

1. Halloween is most favoritest holiday.
2. I can't do NaNoWriMo; it's totally against my nature as a writer.
3. I'm terribly sentimental, but I never tell anyone that.
4. I iron my sheets. I adore smooth, fine cotton to slip into at night.
5. Do not even try to make me think snakes are okay.
6. I change my mind a lot.
7. I love white water rafting.

THERE! That's my seven.

Here are the Newly Discovered Blogs that are about to receive these two awards.

1. Let's Book It
2. Jennifer Groepl-Writer
3. Out on a Limb
4. Lynn Kelly: LynNerd's Random Acts of Writing
5. Writtled

Thank you Rosewood Pencil Box. Thank you Susanne Drazic. Thank you again, Daisy

  1. Nice Lee. The other day we saw a roadrunner in our yard and it was killing a small grass snake! We've seen a lot of things but never anything like that.

  2. Congrats on receiving FOUR awards, Lee! Woot! Woot!
Aw, shucks, thank you for passing the awards on to me! You're so cool, and reading those seven things about you confirms that! I'm not crazy about snakes either!

  3. I sit with my feet up if movies have even on snake in them. My question is why do they always find me when I'm out hiking? I think they want me to like them.

  4. Hi Lee,

Congrats on your awards. Thanks for sharing them. *blush*

Also, thanks for sharing your seven personal facts. I thought my mil was the only one that ironed her sheets! lol

  5. Congrats dahlink--and OMGosh thanks!!!! Am wearing this badge proudly!!!! <3 <3 <3

  6. Congrats on your award and thank you for passing it on. I love Halloween, also. I'm afraid of white water rafting after my accident. The girl next to me cracked her pelvis and I was trapped under the boat. Someday maybe I'll give it another shot. :)

  7. I love that you iron your sheets :) I won't even iron my shirts! Thanks for the award--much appreciated!!!

  8. I love sharing the awards with you all. Let me know when you get around to telling your 7 secrets about yourselves.

  9. I'm honored that you remembered me. ;D You are a versatile blogger! And an awesome one at that.

  10. Congrats on all your awards, and thanks so much for passing one on to me!

  11. Oh yay! Big congrats on all the fab awards, and thanks so much for the shout-out! I'm honoured!

  12. I always love learning new things about blog friends!
And you would be so disappointed in my sheets. I am the worst sheet folder ever. And I take out my iron probably once every three years!

  13. Lee, Congratulations on all of the awards! And thanks for thinking of me when passing them along =D

  14. Congratulations on the awards! Truly well deserved. I hate snakes too. I saw one while we were out walking one day. *Shudder* Good thing we were well beyond striking distance!

Btw, thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving some wonderful comments.

  15. Thanks for dropping by my blog and the award. I love crisp, ironed sheets but I don't want to iron them. :)

  16. I know what you mean about snakes. One day when M and I were out walking, I stopped to pee on a stick. The stick turned out to be a big blacksnake. When it took off, I discovered that dogs can levitate.

  17. Totally with you on 2 and 3. My mom ironed sheets. And underwear. I iron nothing. :)

  18. NaNo against your nature as a writer? In what way?

You might be interested in my guest next Wednesday. Lani Diane Rich was the first unpublished author to have a NaNo novel published and went on to publish two NaNo novels after that. Make sure you check out her post.

  19. Oh, the guest post will be on my main Tossing It Out blog.
