I'm a writer who captures the pulse of adolescent confusion in my Young Adult fiction, Sliding on the Edge and The Princess of Las Pulgas. Of course, I often reveal a lot of my Old Adult confusion while doing that. My first Middle Grade fantasy titled Alligators Overhead is out to good reviews, so that's making me happy. SUMMER SCHEDULE: I'll be blogging on Mondays only, unless there's something important.

Oh No! I've seen her book and didn't know it was Lisa who passed away. This is so sad.
ReplyDeleteWhen she wrote about her cancer last month, I was impressed with her feelings about her life and how she felt prepared for death. Even so, not even knowing her except through her writing, I was knocked back when I heard about her passing yesterday. I send my prayers to her son and family and to you Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteSo incredibly sad. Another talent taken way too early from this world.
ReplyDeleteSo very sad. But she has left behind some that will be around for a while. My prayers are with her family and with you, Lee.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, Lee. I hate cancer. I lost a friend to it yesterday, too. Rest in peace, Lisa and Joanne.
ReplyDeleteSo, so sad. Take care, C. Lee.
ReplyDeleteI'm so, so sorry. I didn't know her, but I read her post about the cancer and immediately felt like I had. I felt so bad yesterday when I found out, so I can only imagine how you must feel. I'm sending you hugs.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are with Lisa's family and friends. I really loved her book, Flash Burnout.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading Mermaid's Mirror and the dedication at the back. I'm so sorry for your loss and her family's, my friend. All my best. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry. She sounds like an amazing person! I'm glad the legacy of her words live on. My condolences for your loss.
