It's not news that we're up against hard economic times. Everyday we hear about more layoffs and company closures. Well here's another bit of not good news. Crow Toes Quarterly is in a bit financial trouble. In order to continue publishing its quality magazine they must raise some money.
Please help by joining THE BACK-ISSUE DRIVE TO KEEP THE CROW ALIVE. We need to keep good literature available for young readers.
I'm a writer who captures the pulse of adolescent confusion in my Young Adult fiction, Sliding on the Edge and The Princess of Las Pulgas. Of course, I often reveal a lot of my Old Adult confusion while doing that. I've just published my first Middle Grade fantasy titled Alligators Overhead. My blog posts come on Mondays & Thursdays unless there's something important, then they come as needed.

Hi Lee,
ReplyDeleteI took a look at the Crows Toes web site and found it charming! I ordered a back issue to help out the cause. Plus I'm curious to see what it is all about.
Great! I love this quarterly and have had two stories in it. It allows the "unpublished" among us to be seen inside a quality publication.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the support. I'm telling Christopher (the splendid editor) what you've said.
